At the Warden's Courb yesterday the following additional applications .vera granted:— , Monowai Amalgamated, six monthsprotection for Monowai. R. H. Abbott, six months' protection, Lux MundL Boab Harbour, also for water race and machine site.

Extended prospecting areas on the Oreat Barrier Island were granted to the follow, ing:—Wm. Coasar, W. Elliott, F, Amodeo A. M, Jowitt, J. Thorne, H. Gentles, B* * Mahoney, P. A. Stein, M. Y. N. Bluck, Geo. Elliott, J. Kneeboiio, Thos. Kneebone, and G. Foster.
The Warden stated thab all complaints for surplus ground would be adjourned to nexb Courb day, in order that persons _r. terested may consider their position.
