THE ROAD FROM OWHAROA.
The managers of the Pandora, Maritana and surrounding properties have notified their directors tbab the track from Owharoa to Waitete is almost impracticable, and unless something is done soon, ib will bo necessary to suspend operations in the mines during the winter season. The Chairmen of the Boards of Directors of the Companies interested to-day telegraphed to tho Chairman of the County Council upon the matter, aa they are loath to'discharge the men during tbe worst parb of the year.
