TIMBER CONFERENCE

Wellington, this day. A Conference will be held here on July 17th of those engaged in the timber trade. The matters to be dealt with are : Means to prevent the destruction of forests, export of timber, suitable timber for building and furniture, also forestry. The Governments of New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria will be asked to send representatives.
