TESTIMONIAL TO MR WARD.
Invercargill, Monday. At a meeting of the friends of the Hon. J. G. Ward, this afternoon, it was decided to inaugurate a testimonial ef a national character, to be presented to him as a mark of sympathy. The whole of the fund is to be devoted to the benefit of Mrs Ward and family. Over two hundred guineas wero subscribed in the room.
