Tbe Bank of New South Wales was ap pointed banker?,Mr Gonlstone auditor, and Buddie, Button and Co., solicitors to the Company. Colonel Burton presided ab the meeting, and explained that 45,000 shares in the Company were held in Christcharcb.

CITY OF AUCKLAND G.M. COMPANY

A meeting of shareholders in the City of Auckland special claim (late Sylvia) was held this afternoon ab the office of Mr Wm. Clarke, New Zealand Insurance Buildings. Mr A. Wright presided. It was decided to form the claim into a noliability company under the style of the City of Auckland Goldmining Company. Mr Wm. Clarke was appointed manager. Tho capital of the Company was fixed at £18,750, divided into 75,000 shares of 5s each. The following gentlemen were elected directors: —A. Wright, J. J. Crate, J. Brown, C. G. Walker, G. J. Panter, R. Logan and T, E. Montgomery. The National Bank wan appointed bankers, Mr P. A. Vaile, solicitor, and Mr A. R. Clayiortb auditor.
