There is little straight-out betting on the races, but the following doubles have been laid on the Thomson Handicap and Steeplechase:— Vogengang and Oaklands, 100 to 3 ; Au Revoir and Norton, 100 to 5 ; Lottie and Norton, 100 to 4: Vogengang and Victrix, 100 to 4; Pinrose and Oaklands, 100 to 5; Purepo and Kaimanawa, 100 to 3; Au Revoir and Kaimanawa, 100 to 4 ; Lady Zetland and Victrix, 100 to 4. The favourites for the Thomson Handicap are Au Revoir, Saracen, Lady Zetland and Lottie.
