THE GOVERNOR'S MOVEMENTS.
ARRIVAL AT GISBORNE.
(BY TELEGRAPH.— PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
Gisborns, this day. His Excellency the Governor arrived here by tbe steamer Talune this morning. He was met by a large crowd, and addresses from the local bodies and the Caledonian Society were read and replied to. His Excellency and party were entertained by Mr Townley, Mayor. I^ord Glasgow has proceeded to Whakabo to inspect the Native church. He leaves thie evening for Auckland.
