DOMAIN BOARD MEETING.

The members of theOtahuhu Domain Board representing the reserve known as the Richmond Hills, mob in the Public Hail yesterday at 3 p.m. Present :A. S. Thompson, R. Crawford, P. Kelly, J. Brady, T. A. Brown and G. B. Hutton, J.P, It waa resolved, " Thab Mr G. B. Huttou be Chairman of tlio-Domain Board:" Mr Brown proposed, " That the Richmond Hills be let for a term of three years (by tender), the lessee to fence, and eradicate all briars and noxious weeds during his term of tenantry." This was seconded by Mr Crawford. Mr Brady urged that tho hills had been for years ths common ritjht of tho people and he objected to the settlers being debarred from grazing their cattle upon them. Mr Brown explained that the Domain Board had no money to fence in or to put tho hills in order, but if let on good terms they would be properly fenced, and in three year 3 the ratepayers would havo a proper recreation ground.— The motion was carried.
