THE DEBATE ADJOURNED.
A NO - CONFIDENCE QUESTION,
This morning the Premier intimated that he had intended to have the discussion of Colonel Fox's reporb for bo-day, but that in now of Mr Rolleston's amendment ho could not do so.
The Leader of the Opposition protested againsb his amendmenb being treated in that way. It really meant nothing. Mr Seddon, however, replied that ho was not responsible for bhe adjournment of tho debate. He had promised to go on with the discussion of the Bill, and he meant to go on with it. He considered bbab the measure was a more important question than tho discussion of Col. Fox's reporb.
