DEATH OF MR W. MAUDE.
(BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION,
Giseorne, this day, Mr William Maude, an old resident of this district, whilst attending a mooting of tho Gisborne Park Racing Club on Satur day evoning ,was strickon with apoplexy, and died within an hour.
[Mr W. Maudo, J.P., formerly of Auckland, was at ono time in tho Union Bank of Australia, Auckland, and was subsequently branch manager for tho Bank at Gisbomo, After his retirement from tho Bank he sottlod permanently at Gisborno, and filled various prominent positions in that town. Ho was an only brother of Mrs J. C. Morrin, of Auckland.]
