Wellikgton, this day. The only Ministers now in town are Messrs Cadman and Buckley. Mr McKenzie left for tho South yesterday afternoon, and will address a meeting of his constituents. Scobie, of the same ilk, ibappeats, has been poaching on the Minister of Lands' preserves, hence this counter check. Mr McKenzie is expected back on Sunday, the Premier and Mr Reeves to-morrow, Mr Seddon on Tuesday, and Messrs Ward and Carroll about the same time. THE COUNCIL NOMINATIONS., The Governor has not yet been officially approached on tho subject of calls to the Legislative Council. It is understood that Mr J. A. Tole ia ono of those mosb likely to be elevated to the Upper Chamber.
