LAWN TENNIS TOURNAMENTS.
The championships in the forthcoming Lawn Tennis Tournaments will be finely fought for this year. The entries are not so numerous a3 in previous years, the gauging of strength having been far more exacb, bub there should ba some capital games. The ties will be drawn on Tuesday and general arrangements made as to grounds and times of playing. The following are tho entries : — Ladies' Championship-. Present holder, Miss Mowbray, of Parnell. Eden and Epsom.—Misses Spiers, M. Paton, E. Hall, Mrs E. W. Burton. Parnell. — Misses Mowbray, Goodall, Rookes, L. Rees, G. Kempthorne, Whitney. Auckland. —Misses Gorrie, Atkinson, Rigby, E. Schertf, Nicholson, Mrs C. R. Chapman. Gentlemen's Championship. Present holder, W. B. Morrison, of Eden and Epsom. Eden and Epsom.— Messrs W. B. Morrison, J. R. Hooper, A. A. Gledhill, J. G. Elyth, J. Hall, R. A. Carr.
Parnell.—Messrs W. P. Goodhue, H, Tonks, Harrison, Tucker, Robison. Auckland.—Mr Turner.
