HOW TO IMPROVE THE PRIMARY EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM.
(To the Editor.)
Sir, —Everlastingly our educational system ia severely handled, but of all matters in connection with it, the one that does most harm ia tho uncertainty and want of connHence that the teachers havo in the Board. The consequence is that in too many instances there are timo servers instead of hoarty workers. Here, my dear Mr Editor, is scope for you to write a leader. After a very litt.lo inquiry I was led to suppose that when Mr Grant was elected tho millennium (for teachers at least) would sot in, but judging what he would have clone by his resolutions the teachers unanimously pray " Good Lord deliver us." I hope tho "Tayeher" who orates through Queenstreet on Saturdays will send better men to the " Boon]."—I am, etc., Crucified.
