AUSTRALIAN EXPLORATION.
Adelaide, March 25.
The transcontinental exploring ex" pedition leaves Peak Hill in a fortnight and will be absent about a year. The expedition departs with the hope of making discoveries that will fill the blanks in the present maps of the interior.
The leader is Lindsay, of Adelaide ; the botanist Brelliot, of Townsville; the naturalist Helms, of Sydney; and the geologist Streich, of Adelaide.
