WAITEMATA.
For the Waitemata seat three candidates are mentioned. Mr R. Monk, the sitting member, has made a move, though it waa at one timo rumoured that he would retire from political life. Mr Jackson Palmer, who was last election a candidate for Rodney, will oppose Mr Monk ; and there is a talk of Mr J. Sinclair, well-known locally, as a probable candidate.
