EDEN.
An elector writes :—" Sir, my attention has been drawn to a paragraph in Saturday's Star re tho Eden electorate. I must say thab I am puzzled as to its meaning. It is there stated that, 'so far, the Hon. Mr Mitchelson is the only candidate in the field for Eden.' Now, sir, I can confidently stato that Mr Josoph Greenwood, of Mount Roskill, was the first in bhe field, he having, in response to tha solicitations of a largo number of Eden electors, consented to stand, the fact of which wa3 announced in the Star (August 14th). A* a lover of fair play may I ask why his name, as a candidate, is omitted."
