r : by bhe House of Representatives to consider i all matters pertaining to tho development 'of tbe dairy produce, wine producing and . fla_ industries, with power to call for persons and -papers, the Committee consisting of Messrs T. Mackenzie, Valentine, Dodson, Msrchsnt, Walker, Wilson, Withy, Beetham, Hon, G. _, Richardson, and Major rSteward. The Government, as a first step : itlthis direction, have given to Mr Reynolds, -of Auckland, who is now on his way to London, a letter of introduction to the -Agon-General with the view of enabling bint to make inquiry on the dairying questions for the benefit of this colony. !Tb- Committee appointed wUI take into 'consideration the desirability of granting a bonus for tbe introduction of an improved method of dressing flax, and tbe besb method of granting such encouragement.
