In the House of Representatives yester- _ day, Mr- Feldwick moved the second reading, of the Employment of Females and . Others Aot-Amendmenb Bill, introduced • by the late Mr Turnbull. , The object of : this measure is to make it dptional whether a weekly half-holiday shall be observed on ' Saturday or some other day of tbe week. The second reading was agreed to, and the "Bill was committed for the 31sb July.
