COLLISION WITH A BRIDGE.
ONE MAN INJURED. (BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Gisborne, bhis day. At six o'clock bhis morning, bhe Napier steamer Fanny, while proceeding up the river bo the Freezing Works, struck the swing of the big Karri Bridge and threw it off the wheels, so thabibwillnobclose. A man named Andrew Greig was injured by the collision. Ib will take some time and considerable expense to put the bridge in working,order. The Borough Council has now a suib againßb bhe owners of bhe Fanny for damage bo bhe foobbridge higher up the river two months ago.
