NEW ZEALAND EXHIBITION.
(BY telegraph.—peess association.)
Dunedin, this day. A deputation waited on the Executive at noon to-day to urge on the Commissioners the desirability of keeping the Exhibition open from 5.30 to 7, or, ab any rate, for an extra hour. The President and Commissioners refused the request on the grounds that the risk, of pilfering and fire would be increased, and thab the staff of officers would be too much overworked, aa they already had to attend from 9 to 5.30, and 7.30 to 11.
