CITY ROWING CLUB.

The annual meetingof the above Club took place last evening in the lecture hall, V.M.C.A. Rooms. Mr E. H. Montgomery presided, and there was a good attendance. The Secretary, Mr W. J. Evers, presented the report of the Committee for the last season,- which proved of an encouraging character. It stated, inter alia : Tiie Committee, in presenting the annual report and balance-sheet, deflire to briefly review the past, present and ; future career of the Club, the first meeting of which was held on the 15th September, 1886.
