THE GISBORNE PETROLEUM WELLS.

Gisborne, this day. A meeting of local shareholders of the South Pacific Petroleum Company was held on Saturday evening. It was resolved to wait Mr Reaver's return from California before making a test of the oil supply. Mr Fleming', of Sydney, the managing director, was present,' and stated he was fully assured of the great value of the property after having visited the well.
