BURLGARY.
The premises of Walton and Son, boot uppe manufacturers, were burglariously entered early yesterday morning.and about eighteen pairs of boots, valued at LB, stolen. Information was given to the police, and Sergeant Kiely arrested a man named James Watson at Newmarket on suspicion. He had five pairs of boots in a bag, and these have since been claimed by Mr Walton as his property. Accused was brought before the Court to-day, when Sergeant Pratt applied for and obtained a remand for a week in order that the police might apprehend another person who is under suspicion, and also to give them an opportunity of recovering the stolen proP ei 'ty- *..-..".-• .
