At a meeting of the Parawai Licensing Committee yesterday afternoon, an application for renewal of the license for the Railway Terminus Hotel (Mr P. O'Sullivan) was refused, while those for the Rob Roy (MrFlett) and the Bridge Inn were granted— the latter on the condition that anew tenant be obtained by the owner. • ' GiSBOENE, this day. Wreckage from a schooner painted white is strewn along' the beach from Maratea to Komaru, and part' of a boat painted white has also been* washed ashore. The crew are supposed to be , lost, as there is no trace of any of them. There is nothing to indicate the name of the vessel that has been wrecked.
