FATAL BOAT ACCIDENT.

Chbistchirch, Thursday. A young man named William Taylor, aged about 19 years, accompanied by his father, William Taylor, sen,, was proceeding to Charters Bay this morning, when the boat filled, and sank, tho younger man being drowned. Mr Taylor, jun., was a pupil teacher at Lyttleton Borough School, and afterwards at the Normal Training School, Christchurch. He had just been appointed to Charters Bay School.
