Persecution of Christians in Cochin China.
Hong Ko.n-u, September 1. News is to hand from Corea that, fearing the Russians, Chinese ironclads recently anchored off the coast, and landed a party of soldiers disguised. On the latter reaching the Bhore, they were attacked by a riotous mob of Coreans, and compelled to return. Reports have reached here of terrible massacre of Christians in North Cochin China and in the Chinese province of Sochuen.
