JUVENILE THIEVES.
For somo timo past complaints havo been made by the rnilwoy authorities of th» larceny of oil drums from tho neigh bourhood of tho workshops, nitherto, the pollco have boon unable to discover the offenders, bat Detoctivo Jonos managed to drop nicely upon some of them, at loaet, to-day. He was loaving for Newmarket in tho 'bus, ond was surprised to notice that his movements wore carefully watched by sevoral lads. After proceeding a short distance in tho 'bus, he got off and returned to town. On his way, ho observed tho simo boyß with tho drums in their possession, ond apprehended them with Bomo difficulty. Tho boys, who are not now offenders, nro named William Mumford, Thomas Smith, and Honry Dngnoll.
