ANNUAL LICENSING MEETINGS.
Mount Roskill.
The annual mooting of tho Mount Roskill Liconsing Committoo was hold at the Public Hall, Avondalo, on the 10th inst Present: The Rev. R. Somervillo (Chairman), Mossrs Bollard, Carr, und Conolly, with the Clerk, Mr Seaman, and tho Inspector, Mounted Constablo Kolly. Tho minutes of tho previous meeting wero confirmed, and a favourable report was received of tho Avondnlo Hotel from the Inspector. Mr Bollard expressed a most favourable opinion as te tho management of tho hotel during its occupancy by Mr Braloy, the present licensee, nnd a renewal of the licotiso was granted for the ensuing year. Tho poll re local option will bo takon for this district oarly in December, that being the month in which it was takon in ISB2.
