ARRIVAL OF THE LOCH FERGUS.

- The barque Loch Fergus, with a lull general cargo (a list of which we published very recently) consigned to the New Zealand SMpping . Company, arrived from London at an early _ hour this morning. Having a quantity of explosives on board,.she dropped anchor at . th^ powder ground, and .Will probably remain there until to-morrow. The Loch Fergus isundercommandof Captain Jones, who j "haa furnished us with particulars of tho voyage. The trip haa not been a fortunate one, being ■ marked by unfavourable weather and two unfortunate accidents, particulars of which appear in another column. The Loch Fergus 'left on August 6th, and Gravesend samo day. Had calms and light winds down the Channel. Got the N.E. trades off Madeira, 20 days out, andlosttheminl-ldcg.N. Crossed_ioEquator.il 9 clays out, in 26deg. W.jThe S.E. trades were poor, and carried to 18deg.S., then had light winds. Moderate weather continued to the meridian of Greenwich, which was reached on 11th October in lab 37deg. S.i 66 days out; then had strong N.W.- winds. Crossed the meridian of Good Hope in 42deg. South. Ban down the ._■ castings in 45deg., and. from 42deg. South hod unsettled weather from all points of the comI pass. Bounded Leuwin on 13th November, ani I \ from thoro had moderate weather and wind I from N.W. The Loch' Fergus Was four dayti off the coast with light easterly winds, and »_rived this morning.
