Inwards Coastwise.—Bessie, from Parua Bay, with 35 tons firowood; Zillah, from Thames, with 23,000 feet sawn timper; Swallow, from Mongonul, with 18,000 feet timber; Mana, from Tairua, with 26,000 feet timber; lokoran, from Tairua, with 27,000 feet timber. Outwards Coastwise. — Erie uhilda, for "Whangaroa; Gisborne, for Qisbome; Seagull, for Hokianga. The brigantine Linda Weber arrived at Port Chalmers from Western Australia yesterday. At Port Chalmers she is expected to load for this port. The schooner Gleaner has completed her loading at Mercury Bay, and will sail for Levuka probably to-morrow. The three-masted schooner Ann and Mary arrived at Mercury Bay from an Australian port on Tuesday, and is now loading timber there. The s.s Clansman arrived from Whangarel early this morning, with the following passonsters:—Messrs Korth, E. Carter, J. Beck, Lar- , tins, Keesing, Allen, Rutherford, and 2Btoerage. The barquo Qefron (Borjesaor) cleared at the Customs to day for Newcastle. The Thames steamer Rotomahana was docked this morning for cleaning. The barque Mountain Laurel has been hauled off from the Railway Wharf, and her place has been taken by the barque Notero. The brigantine Borealis arrived from NewCastle and dropped anohor at the powder ground this morning. She left Newcastle in company with the Annabtll, on the 23rd ult.

The schooner Mailo has cleared at the Cus toms for Tonga, and will vory likely sail tomorrow".

Tho s.s. Glenelg arrived from Tairua and Meroury Bay this morning, with the following passengers:—Mrs Bright, Mrs Norton, Miss Cole, Messrs Nixon, Thomas, Monk, Miller, Sproude, Meikle, Sinythios, Winchester, Puree., Campbell, Gardiner, Donnelly, and 2 steerage.

The schooner Winifred arrived at Suva from a four months' labour cruise on November 12. She does not go aeain for labour, and the master. Captain Meredith, joins the Meg Mertiles.

The s.s. Tarawera left for Melbourne via Southern ports at 2 p.m. to-day. Passengers for Gisborne: Miss Cooko, Mr Cooke, Mr Clark, and Master Clark. For Napier: Mrs Prince, Miss Martin, Messrs Bowron and Jowan. For Wellington: Mesdames Levy and J. Murray, Miss Eraser, Mesdames Fraser, McKenzie and family, Thomson, and Baselberg. For Lyttolton: Mr Billingo. For Dunedin: Messrs Marsden and Jowltt, Mr and Miss Livingstone. Mrs Ashworth, Mrs Fargio and 2 children, Mr and Mrs Earle. For' Melbourne: Mr Bernard.. The s s. Arawato, Captain W. L. Cronmrtv, arrived at 10 30 p.m. yesterday. Sho loft Levuka at noon on 27th, arrived at Sura at i.30 samo day, and loft at 6 a.m. on 28th for Lancola Bay. Took in sugar and sail c dat daybreak for Suva. Left Suva nt-3 p.m. on 29th, and Jfc_s_§&to\un Washington at 6.30 p.m. Breasted lOfflHßlKnighta at 4 p.m. jto-day, and arrived 'IMS-tig ExperiencedTno weather and S.E. ~a_.-_N.IS. breezes throughout.
