Ilarman joined Milton, played several maidens in good style, and made a single, Million meanwhile contributing- 5 to the score, which at 1.20 was 17 ; Millton's total being 7. Hantaan made two singles, and was then caught by Davies behind the wickets, off Hide—l 9-2—3. Mathias filled the vacancy. Mtllton added a single, and then scored tho first four of the day by a lo" hit, and shortly afterwards Matthias was bowled by Kendoll-2-l—l-0.
