Napier, this day. Mr Sutton, M.H.R., has received a tologiam with reference to the revocation of tho proclamation in " Gazette" No. 14, doflningdistrlcts rateable under " The Crown and Nativo Lands Rating Act." That proclamation excluded all tlie richest native estatos in the Provincial District, and, ,as most of them had no speuilled owners, would have escaped all local rating. Tho revocation of the proclamation makca 11 difference in favour of Hawke's Bay County Council and Road Boards of about £1,6110.
