Tho Big Bank Robbery—Prisoner Remanded.

Melbodbkk, September 24.

Richard Corbett, who is under arrest charged with the robbery at the Commercial Bank of Australia, was brought up at the Police Court to-day, and remanded for a week. Three more bars of gold, valued at £"2,000, have been found hidden in a shutter of ono of the windows on the bank premises. The place of concealment was disclosed by the prisoner, who has also stated the locality where the other bars are. The bank has applied for a warrant for the arrest of the caretaker at the bank, who is prisoner's father, and all other members of his family. The application was refused by the magistrate, the ca.se against them being groundless. The prisoner's mother has become seriously ill, owing to anxiety.
