SUDDEN DEATH AT PARNELL.

The unexpected death of Mrs Dargaville, the beloved wife of Mr Robert A. Dargaville of Parnell, on Saturday evening _ has cast a gloom over the immediate locality iv which the deceased lady resided. It appeared that Mrs Dargaville had walked about considerably on Saturday, aud in the evening went with other friends to Parnell Hall to witness the skating. While in the hall, the new fire-bell struck out its ominous tone's which so much affected the lady that her husband was obliged to support her in his arms. Subsequently on walking home, Mrs Dargaville complained of a pain in her chest and finding that the lady grew worse, she was assisted into the house of Mr J. M. I Darr-aville, aud Dr Wright was called in but - only iu«t in time to witness the ebbing away of life. Dr Wright had no doubt but that the cause of death was heart disease, and Dr "Goldsbro' expressed the same opinion. Mrs Darc-aville was a daughter of Captain McCall, late of the sth Dragons, and with her husband, had recently come from Tasmania. Mr Dargaville came from Tasmania for the purpose of superintending his brother's buisness in the |Kaipara. We learn that the funeral will leave the residence of Mr J. M. Dargaville at two o'clock I to-morrow.
