FIRE AT WARKWORTH.

(From a Correspondent.)

Warkworth, 9 a.m. A FIXE, supposed to be the act of an incendiary, occurred here last night. Mr Trethowen's bone mill on the banks of the river Mahurangi about half-a-mile above the falls, was burnt to the ground. The mill has been lying idie for some years, but has'lately been at work under the management of Mr Palmer. The person suspected is not far off. The inquest will be held to-morrow. The mill and machinery are insured for £250 in the Imperial office.
