POSTPONEMENT OF MR. MARTIN'S LECTURE.
The opening lecture at the Young Men's Christian Association rooms is postponed until this day week in conseouence of the unsettled state of the we&.her. The barometer had fallen a good deal during the night, and apart from the probability of rain, Mr Martin considers that a damp atmosphere would interfere with the success of the chemical experiments with which he intends to illustrate his subject,
