Mr Greenwood reports his usual Friday sale as follows t—Turkeys, 2s 3d to 3s Grl each ; ducks, 2s to 2s 9d each ; fowls, Is Gd to 2s 3d each ; chickens, Is each ; brahmas, 4s 6d each ; Spanish fowls, 5s each ; potatoes, £4 to £5 per ton ; chaff, £5 per ton; cheese, 8d per lb; butter, Is and Is 2d per lb; onions, fd per lb. Trees, plants, shrubs, &c, fetched fair prices. Mr Lipscombe's seeds, &c, wero sold, and realised good prioes.

Mr George Sibbin had a good attendance at his corner mart to-day, and the following were the average prices :—Maize, 43 6d ; oats, 3s ; cheese, 6Jd to 9d; potatoes £4 10s ; butter, lid to"ls Id ; tea 20s to 26s ; halfchests, 2s 4d to 2s 4Jd ; sugar, 4d to 4fd ; onions, gd ; candles, IOJd : salmon, 10s 6d ; rice, 1 Jd ; and beef 3d.

Messrs Cochrane and Son held their usual weekly sale of furniture, &c„ consisting of household articles, chairs, bedding, and cots, and satisfactory prices were obtained. Mr E. Arthur, of the new Mart, had a good atttendance considering the weather. Potatoes sold at 3s 6d to 4s Gd ; Canterbury do, 5s 6d to Gs ; pumpkins, 3s 3d to 4s ; carrots, 2s 6d; onions, §d; black oats, 2s 9d ; butter, 5d to Is Id; bacon, 5d to 9gd ; Canterbury do, lOd to Is ; cheese, 4d to 6:} d. The furniture sale was proceeding as we went to press.

Messrs Morton Jones' generel sale was well attended. Fowl-wheat Is 2d to 4s Gd; potatoes 4s Gd to 5s ; maize 4s 9d to 5s 3d; onions Id ; bacon (green) Gd to 8d ; butter Is $d to Is 2d ; tea (boxes) 21s to 243 ; fowls Is 9d to 2s ; Spanish ditto 2s 2d ; ducks 2s 3d ; turkeys 3s to 3s Gd. The furniture, fancy goods, and novels sold at fair prices.
