(Per Press Telegram Agency.) Saturday. Destructive Fire-
A fire occured last night at the Phoenix warehouse, in Stafford and Hope-streets, in premises a portion of which was occupied by Esther and Low, and a portion by Henderson and Low. The front premises were totally destroyed, the rear partially. The insurances are as follow :—Esther and Low, in the Roval, £750; in Liverpool, London, and Globe", £750; total, £1,500: Estimated loss of stock, £2,000. Henderson and Low's loss is not yet computed, nor the amount of their insurances. The whole loss is estimated at £4,000. The origin is supposed to have been a wooden box at the rear of the premises, into which lighted ashes had been thrown.
