ALBURNIA, G. M. C.
The annual meeting of the Alburma Gold Mining Company took place to-day at the Company's offices, Mr. C. J. Stone occupied the chair. There was a moderate attendance of shareholders. The report stated that the right to use the Black Angel tunnel had been purchased for £500. The result of the working on that level had been unsatisfactory, and a loss of £1195 incurred, while the old portions of the mine had paid expences. The directors had recently purchased the Lincoln Castle claim. The Balance Sheet showed—B eceipts £9264 5s leaving a liability to Bank and other creditors of £1321 12s. 4&. .The- value of - the gold taken out of the mine daring the year is stated as £6,931 2s. 4d. Both report and balance-sheet were adopted. Mr. R. Sommerville was elected a director in the room of Mr. T. RnsBelllabsent in England. This was all the buimeas.
