AUTUMN HORTICULTURAL SHOW.

We regret to say that the attendance yesterday at the Horticultural Society's Exhibition was not so large as wad anticipated, in consequence in some measure to the sports at Ellerslie and other scenes. In several of its features, hovvever, the exhibition was the best that Auckland has ever had, and shewed in a moat encouraging light that New Zealand is capable of producing flowers, fruits and vegetables, equal to those of any other country in the_ world. In consequence of the paucity of visitors yesfcerdoy, the committee re-opened the exhibition tbis morning at eleven o'clock in order that all who take an interest in such things may be fully gratified with a sight of the finest natural productions that have yet been exhibited in this city; We gave, in the last issue of the Evening Stab, the first section of the prize list, open to all comers ; we now append the remainder of the list : — Section 2.
