Mr S. A. Le Comte donates one pair budgies in show cage for children's class in Winter show.
Mr L. Blood donates cup for best hen in show to be wpn outright three years in succession, also Mr L. Blood gives £2 2s. The secretary was instructed to write to Mr C. Hill re ruling on Shield and asking him to lift restrictions on same. The president, Mr J. A. Hanley. thanked the following gentlemen who assisted in the running of the shows so successfully in the past year. Mr C. Hill (Christchurch), Mr W. Aitken, The Society of Cage Birds South Island Association, Mr T. Watkinscn. The secretary presented the cash account and balance sheet which showed a credit balance of £13 17s llid, besides other assets belonging to the club.
The meeting closed with a hearty vote of thanks to the chairman.
