COWS ON FOOTPATHS To the Editor.
Sir.—l think it is about time the po'ice or tbo Inspector of Nuisances looked after the numerous cows that are allowed to wander about the east end of the town. If the owners of these aniraalH. who tuve no paddocks for them but turn them out at random t> feed on their neighbours 1 hedges and gardens, will not keep their, off the footpath?, the least they can do would be to provide the who drive them with a ebovdl and broom to keep out "paths fit to w»lk on.—Yours, &c , DISGUSTED PEDESTRIAN.
