Mr Donald (Styx) and Mr C. Horc (Patearoa) were in Alexandra last week.
Messrs Jas. Stuart, M'Lellan and Shaw motored througb from Moa Creek to Miller's flat to attend the dog trials held there last week.
Mrs Standring, widow of • the late Rev. Mr Standring, who was for a number of years pastor of the Presbyterian Chureh at Alexandra, is now on a visit to this town, and is the guest of Mrs J. D. Thomson.
Mr C. M'lntosh, secretary of the Fruitgrowers'- Association, left last week .with the Otago farmers' excursion to the North Island.
We regret to learn that Mr W. M'Taggart, an old resident of Earnscleugb, is, at present, an inmate of the Clyde Hospital.
Mr Sword, district traffic manager of Railways was in Alexandra yesterday.
