OBITUARY
MR W. P. ANDERSON The death occurred yesterday at Fairton of Mr William Paterson Anderson, for 47 years in the service of the Canterbury Frozen Meat and Export Company and latterly chief engineer to the various works of the organisation. He was in his 78th tear. Mr Anderson was formerly one of the best golfers in Canterbury and always took a very keen interest in that sport. He was a member of a Chrietchurch golf club, also president of the Ashburton Club for some years and then patron. He was a member of the County Racing Club, of the County Club and Ashburton Club and M.S.A. Surviving him are a son, Mr Norman Anderson (Ashburton), and two daughters. Mrs Anderson died come time ago.
