FRANCE MAY NEED HELP (Rec. 10 a.m.) PARIS, Nov. 22. The French Minister for IndoChina, Mr Jean Le Tourneau, said today that if the war in Indo-China con tinued, France would be forced to call for the active assistance of the Western Powers., He told the French National Assembly in a debate on Indo-China: ‘There has been talk of recourse to an. international authority. -Under present conditions, I. do not think this recourse either possible or desirable, but I cannot prejudge what may happen if the conflict were to take on a clearly international character. Frahce might reserve the right to seek a solution by international means.” Mr Le Tourneau has just returned from a three weeks’ visit to IndoChina.
