HORSE-BUS DRIVER RETIRES
IDENTITY IN LONDON LONDON. The last of London’s old horse-bus drivers has retired. After 56 years’ driving, Mr Alfred Dymott is looking for another job, but the man who Started his career on a two-horse vehicle, and was ‘‘promoted” to petrol buses in 190 S, has not yet decided what he will do. Recognition of Alfred’s long career with the London transport came this year. He received the British Empire Medal.—Reuter.
