HEADLESS MOTORCYCLIST
Collision With Car (Rec. 10.15 a.m.) PARIS, Aug. 16. A motor-cycle with a headless rider in the saddle and a girl on the pillion roared on for 100 yards after a crash near Le Havre today. The motor-cycle was ridden by Raymond Bertaux, aged 35. It collided at terrific speed with a motor-car, and Bertaux’s head was torn off. The girl, Michelle Pelion, aged 22, clung to his body as the motorcycle ran on and .eventually crashed. The girl suffered slight injuries.
