WEST INDIES WIN
ENGLAND SLUMP IN SECOND INNINGS (Rec. 10.45 a.m.) LONDON, August IG. Kisses and hugs and a new calypso greeted the West Indians’ innings and 56 runs victory in the fourth and final test against England at the Oval to-day. The result gave the tourists a threeone win for the rubber. The match came to an abrupt end when England, forced to follow on 159 runs behind on a sticky wicket, could secure only 103. England began a disastrous day 221 runs behind the West Indies’ first innings total of 503. with six wickets in hand. Overnight rain and brilliant morning sun had the wicket sticky and treacherous.
