CLOSE CO-OPERATION IN FAR EAST
BRITISH AND FRENCH FORCES OPEN TALKS SAIGON, August IG. The French Army announced that a series of staff talks with senior British Army, Navy and Air Forces from Singapore opened to-day. The conversations will cover military problems of mutual interest in Far Eastern regions under British and French command. . The agenda is being kept secret, but it is known that senior officers will discuss closer co-operation between the British and French forces in Malaya. Hong Kong and Indo-China.
