CRUISE SHIP BURNED
ALL PASSENGERS SAFE ’ OTTAWA, Auguet 14. The Canada Steamship Lines’ cruise ship Quebec (7016 tons) caught fire to-day whie cruising in the St. Lawrence river, near Tadoussac. Officials said that all the 400 passengers and crew of 150 had been safely removed. The vessel was a complete loss. THREE BODIES RECOVERED (Rec. 10.30) OTTAWA, August 15. A man, his wife and their small son were unaccounted for to-day after a check of passengers who were removed from the cruise ship Quebec when it caught fire last night. The police said it would be late today before the 4200-ton vessel would cool sufficiently to permit a search for the missing family. Official reports last night said that all 400 passengers and crew had been safely removed. A later, message says that searchers found three bodies which were not immediately identified.
